I'm a bit of a domestic goddess - I love baking, knitting, crochet, gardening, and, of course, sewing! I also adore all things old - I don't think I have a single new thing in my home. It makes me happy to think that I have saved an item from a fate of languishing in a landfill, never to be loved again. There is a wonderful sense of satisfaction when creating something functional, I think, which is doubled when the materials used have been recycled.
