Sonic Fabric is a durable, audible fabric constructed from recycled cassette tape inspired by wind activated preyers of the Tibetan prayer flags and tell-tails on sailboats. In order to support the culture that inspired Sonic Fabric some of the material is hand loomed and sewn into bags and other items at a craft cooperative for Tibetan women refugees in Nepal.
