Your event will have ways to modify used clothing through sewing areas and /or DIY workshops.

Your event will cost no more than $10 + a bag of clothing to attend.

There will be nothing for sale once in the event. Remember SORR is an autonomous zone, no commerce once inside. It's not a flea market and it's not a craft fair.

There will be no mirrors. At SORR we are each others mirrors. SORR is is not the isolated experience of the mall, it's a intimate community experience of shared creativity. We can trust those we dont know to act as mirrors and answer the question, "how do i look?"

You will credit the original event and identify your event as part of it by carrying a link to (http://www.swaporamarama.org ) on all of your promotional materials (flyers, posters, email text, web site etc).

You will carry the same Creative Commons license on all of your materials (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/ ).

Typically Swap-O-Rama-Rama's are produced by regular folks, friends, groups of friends, schools or non-profit organizations. IF you are interested in producing a Swap-O-Rama-Rama for a FOR PROFIT entity you MUST have my permission to do so. For profit groups are excluded in the Creative Commons license that secures Swap-O-Rama-Rama. I often make exceptions for like minded groups but I do require that such groups make a minimal donations to Swap-O-Rama-Rama to support our infrastructure.

If it's a Swap-O-Rama-Rama you wish to produce than
Sign onto the Swap Planner email list. This list is where Swap-O-Rama-Rama organizers like you receive information throughout the year (very low traffic). When you write to join the list tell me about yourself, what skills you have and where you may need help. This will begin the process of working together.

When You Have a Date and Location for Your Event
Send it in to be added to this site listing Swap-O-Rama-Ramas all over the world. Send us the date, time and location, a link if you have a web site and any details you'd like to share. Here press and people in your community may discover your event.
